Coast Guard Sector San Diego is counting on its Auxiliary members to provide more support in its operations as well as
continuing to carry out the traditional roles of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. To meet this challenge, our goals should
be to recruit and train more new members as well as retain our new and current members in our two divisions.
I look forward working with my Division Captains and their flotillas to meet that challenge through vigorous member
training and cornerstone events as well as helping our District and Coast Guard Sector San Diego to define our
operational support roles that will be realistic, exciting, and satisfying for our Auxiliary members.
