The Past Captains Assn. is composed of Auxiliarists who have served as division captains. Its current officers are Pat Swope, President, Roy Garrabrant, Vice President, Nancy Smith, Secretary, and Rick Kaufman, Treasurer. At present PCA members have responsibility for planning the annual District Conference and the annual District cruise. The PCA also has oversight of the Memorial Marker at Integrated Support Command, San Pedro, which memorializes the names of deceased Auxiliarists. The next ceremony at the Memorial Marker to honor those who have passed over the bar is scheduled for Saturday, May 15th. The current chairman is Burt Irwin. Area managers, appointed by the president, are available to assist division captains and provide Administrative Procedure exams for those wishing to be eligible to run for elective office. The PCA holds two brunch meetings yearly, in spring and fall, and an annual meeting at the District Conference. Any past division captain is eligible to join. The dues are $3 annually or $25 for life membership.
