• New Member Paperwork will be held in DIRAUX office.

• 2 Fingerprint cards will be mailed to the U. S. Coast Guard Security Center in Chesapeake, VA for processing and approval. Process takes approximately 4 weeks.

• As a first step in preparing AUXDATA to handle Personnel Security Information, a new member status of "AP - Application Pending" has been created in AUXDATA.

When receiving new applications for membership, that person can now be entered with the status of "AP". This will allow the persons record to be created in AUXDATA, an Employee ID assigned, and that person will appear in AUXDATA as Status "AP". When a favorable security check is complete and members become eligible, the status will be changed from AP to IQ or BQ.

New member letter will be processed and mailed.

• DIRAUX office will receive the approval, or disapproval notification of finger prints.

• If disapproved, the AP person will be disenrolled.

• If approved, New Member information will be updated in AUXDATA to IQ or BQ.

• Auxiliary member I. D. Card can then be processed if information is provided.
